Welcome to the A Special Time information page. The Rev. Jane Ramsey provides Seminars in matters affecting Aging and Dying, individual pastoral couseling, and rites of passage as in memorial services, weddings and child dedication services. Rev. Jane's goal is to provide pastoral and educational services to those in need for a reasonable fee.
Individual Pastoral Counseling
Comon sense, experienced and trained in pastoral counseling.
Fees:
1) People paid hourly - pay me at least what you make an hour - i.e. if you make $12/hr, you pay me at least $12 for one session
2) People paid by salary - pay $10 per $10,000 gross earned (or part thereof) - i.e. if you make $60,000gross/year you pay me $60; if you make $25,000 gross/year, they pay me $25
3) Persons without an hourly or salaried income - students, parents with children working solely in the home, retirees, etc. - estimate your household income as a salary and see # 2 above
Rites of Passage
Memorial Services, Weddings, Child Dedications.
Rev. Jane is experienced in officiating at all of the above and will custome tailor the service to fit your needs.
Fees:
Wedding $350
With Rehearsal $450
Baby Naming/Blessing $200
Memorial $200
Memorial with committal $250
Workshop on Preparing for Death and Dying
Includes areas of spiritual concerns such as fear of death, meaning of life and practical matters such as preparing advance directives, memorial services, wills, ect.
Fee: 6 hour workshop With a minimum of 5 people registered for $30 per person
Preaching
Complete worship service. Specializing in sermons on Aging and Dying although other topics are available
